The Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology officially announced the list of the sixth batch of Hunan Provincial Manufacturing Single-Champion Enterprises, with Jiudian Hongyang successfully making the cut thanks to its Hydrotalcite active pharmaceutical ingredient (API).

The Manufacturing Single-Champion title is often likened to the "crown jewel of manufacturing," with exceptionally stringent certification criteria. Enterprises must have been deeply engaged in their specific sub-sector for more than five years, command a market share ranking among the top three domestically or top five globally for their primary product, and lead the industry in R&D intensity. It stands as one of the highest recognitions of a company's technological leadership and market dominance within a niche field. This sixth batch includes a total of 158 enterprises and products, representing the core strengths of the province in advanced manufacturing, new materials, biomedicine, and other sectors. As a key part of the biomedicine industry's "two zones and three parks" strategic layout, Jiudian Hongyang's selection for its Hydrotalcite API highlights the company's technological prowess and market influence in its specialized segment.
