On June 5, the Conference on Advancing the Building of an Advanced Manufacturing Highland in Hunan Province was held in Changsha. The 2025 Hunan Top 100 Enterprises list, the 2025 Hunan Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises list, and other rankings were officially released at the conference. On the strength of its manufacturing capability and operating performance, Jiudian Pharmaceutical was named to the Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises in Hunan, ranking 75th, and maintained its momentum of consecutive listings with a steady rise in ranking.

The list was compiled by the Hunan Federation of Enterprises (Entrepreneurs) and Industrial Economy with reference to internationally accepted practice and the standards of the China Enterprise Confederation. Operating revenue in 2024 was the principal qualification criterion, and the list was released to the public for the 23rd consecutive year. As a forerunner of intelligent manufacturing and digital transformation in China's pharmaceutical sector, Jiudian Pharmaceutical has in recent years taken intelligent manufacturing as its guiding principle. From workshop design and equipment selection to process optimization, it has advanced an across-the-board expansion and upgrading of intelligent manufacturing, and its capability in this area has been highly recognized by government authorities at all levels.

Driven by this, the company has actively advanced digital and intelligent development, grasped what high-quality intelligent pharmaceutical manufacturing entails, and set its course toward digital, intelligent, and green development, building a data-driven model for high-quality drug manufacturing. At its newly built high-end formulation R&D industrial park, the company is fully committed to creating a 5G smart campus. It has introduced advanced information platforms and equipment, including an MES intelligent manufacturing system, a WMS intelligent warehousing system, an ERP U9 system, and a QMS quality management system, and has achieved digital management across the full modern pharmaceutical chain of research, production, and sales. Through system integration and coordination, the company has achieved coordinated optimization of intelligent production scheduling, lean manufacturing, monitoring of the entire production process, automated logistics, finished-product traceability, energy management, and dynamic marketing tracking, providing solid technical support for its consecutive inclusion in the Top 100 and its continued rise in the ranking.

These intelligent-manufacturing practices have also received authoritative recognition. In May last year, Jiudian Pharmaceutical and its subsidiary Jiudian Hongyang were both included in the annual list of advanced-level intelligent factories. Previously, Jiudian Pharmaceutical had been recognized as a Benchmark Enterprise for Intelligent Manufacturing in Hunan Province, and API Workshop 6 of Jiudian Hongyang and the oral-liquid intelligent manufacturing workshop of Jiudian Pharmaceutical had been recognized as benchmark workshops for intelligent manufacturing in Hunan Province.

While advancing intelligent manufacturing, the company has actively responded to the national strategy of high-end, intelligent, and green development of the manufacturing sector. It has been recognized as a National Green Factory and as an Outstanding Pilot Enterprise in Hunan Province for the integrated development of advanced manufacturing and modern services, and it continues to strengthen the coordinated development of intelligentization and green development. In digital transformation, Jiudian Hongyang received the three-star certification for digital-transformation maturity from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the title of AAA-level enterprise for implementation of the management system for the integration of informatization and industrialization. It is the only enterprise in Hunan's pharmaceutical industry to hold both certificates, marking that the company has joined the leading ranks in China in the digital field.

Inclusion in the Hunan Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, together with the rise in ranking, is authoritative recognition of Jiudian Pharmaceutical's manufacturing strength. Going forward, the company will continue to deepen its work in intelligent manufacturing, accelerate the cultivation of new quality productive forces, and, with a higher level of digital and intelligent manufacturing capability, help Hunan Province build a nationally important advanced manufacturing highland and contribute more to the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical industry.
