On November 10, the 2025 Hunan Provincial Quality Work and Provincial Governor's Quality Award Ceremony was held in Changsha. The event thoroughly implemented the spirit of the 20th Central Committee’s Fourth Plenary Session and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statements on quality work. It further deepened cooperation between the provincial and national agencies, promoted the construction of a quality-driven province, and contributed to the high-quality development and the building of a quality-oriented nation.

The ceremony was attended by Provincial Party Secretary and Governor, Mr. Mao, and the Party Secretary and Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Mr. Luo, who delivered speeches. Provincial leaders, including Mr. Chen, Mr. Wang, and Mr. Zhang, as well as Secretary-General of the Provincial Government, Mr. Qu, also participated.

At the meeting, the winners of the 8th Hunan Provincial Governor’s Quality Award were announced and recognized. Seven organizations received the Governor's Quality Award, while eight organizations were awarded the Nomination Award. Jiudian Pharmaceutical, which participated in the evaluation for the first time, stood out among 42 nominated organizations, winning the Nomination Award for its performance in quality management, technological innovation, and industry leadership. The Hunan Provincial Governor’s Quality Award, established in 2010, is the highest honor granted by the provincial government to organizations and individuals in the field of quality. It aims to set quality benchmarks, promote a societal awareness of the importance of quality, encourage innovation in quality management, and advance the adoption of advanced quality management methods. The award also aims to foster an ecosystem focused on excellence in technology, standards, brands, quality, and service, showcasing Hunan’s quality standards and promoting the " Hunan Products, Hunan Manufacturing" brand image. To date, eight rounds of the award have been held, recognizing 57 winners of the Governor’s Quality Award (including 8 individuals) and 25 Nomination Awards.
