Abstract
To further promote the physical and mental well-being of employees, assist them in scientifically managing stress, and foster a positive mindset, on April 24, under the guidance of the Changsha Biomedical and Food Industry Trade Union Working Committee, the Jiudian Pharmaceutical Trade Union organized a specialized mental health lecture titled "Positive Mindset and Stress Management." The event was conducted in a hybrid format, combining an offline main venue with online sub-venues. Ms.Ye, Associate Professor at the School of Marxism of Central South University and an expert in health psychology, was invited as the keynote speaker. Over 100 employees participated in the event through both online and offline channels.

During the lecture, Professor Ye provided a systematic exposition on three core topics: the current state of mental health, scientific stress management, and the cultivation of a positive mindset. By incorporating authoritative data from reports such as the "2022 National Health Insights Report" and the "2024 China Resident Sleep Health White Paper," he conducted a comprehensive analysis of the nation's mental health and sleep conditions, elucidated the requirements for establishing a national social psychological service system, and helped employees gain a profound understanding of the necessity of prioritizing their own mental well-being.

Based on the characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry and corporate job roles, Professor Ye identified the core stress factors commonly faced by frontline employees. Through case studies tailored to practical work scenarios, he helped employees clearly understand the sources of stress and encouraged them to address psychological issues promptly by seeking professional assistance. Regarding stress management, Professor Ye challenged the prevailing notion that "stress is entirely detrimental," emphasizing instead that negative thought patterns are the primary factors affecting physical and mental health. He advocated for scientifically sound approaches to coping with stress and shared practical strategies, including accepting stress calmly, reducing unrealistic expectations, managing emotions effectively, and maintaining a balanced work-rest schedule. In the section on cultivating a positive mindset, Professor Ye applied the ABC Rational Emotive Therapy theory to guide employees in adjusting their cognitive patterns and reducing mental exhaustion. He demonstrated simple psychological relaxation techniques such as the Dixiang smile, butterfly relaxation exercises, and light aerobic workouts, leading all participants through immersive relaxation training sessions.
The lecture was highly practical and interactive, with participating employees sharing their genuine experiences. They noted that the relaxation techniques learned during the training were simple and easy to implement, allowing immediate application during lunch breaks, making them exceptionally practical.
Jiudian Pharmaceutical has consistently upheld the "people-oriented" philosophy, prioritizing the physical and mental well-being of its employees in corporate development. This specialized lecture serves not only as a concrete measure by the Jiudian Pharmaceutical Trade Union to fulfill its role as a "family-like support system" for employees, but also as a significant practice in enhancing the company's employee care framework and fostering harmonious labor relations. Moving forward, the company will continue to focus on employees' practical needs, continuously improve its mental health support system, and introduce more targeted, considerate, and practical health services to comprehensively safeguard employees 'physical and mental health, thereby consolidating strong momentum for the company's high-quality development.
