On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Xiangtan University's re-establishment, Jiudian Pharmaceutical donated 250,000 yuan to Xiangtan University and injected it into the "Xiangtan University Jiudian Pharmaceutical Scholarship Fund" to support poverty students in the School of Chemistry.

At the ceremony, Ge Fei, vice president of Xiangtan University, highly praised Jiudian’s kindness of funding education, saying that the school will give full play to the incentive role of financial aid, strengthen student training, and improve the quality of talents.

Yang Jie, director of human resources of Jiudian Pharmaceutical, said that an excellent enterprise should not only create corporate value, but also actively assume social responsibility and create social value. We hope that this donation can help more students to complete their studies, realize their personal value and make greater contributions to society.

Since the establishment of the "Xiangtan University Jiudian Pharmaceutical Scholarship Fund" in 2018, Jiudian Pharmaceutical has provided financial aid support for the School of Chemistry for six years, and has funded 60 students from poor families in total. Among them, 36 of the recipients have gone on to pursue graduate degrees in renowned universities such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tianjin University.
