On December 6, 2025, Jiudian Pharmaceutical held the “Change Your Pain Patch, Change to Jiudian” brand upgrade press conference, inviting over 300 key executives from mainstream pharmacy chains and commercial companies across China to witness the company’s comprehensive revitalization in the external pain relief field. The company officially began its strategic transformation from a “product-centric” focus to a “dual-core” drive of both “products and brand,” with a clearer image and positioning to expand the vast potential of the outpatient market.

Currently, China’s external pain relief market is developing in a unique direction. With the aging population and a growing number of young people suffering from occupational and sports injuries, the chronic pain demographic continues to increase. In recent years, the demand for external pain relief products has steadily risen. However, this market has long faced challenges such as product homogeneity, a limited variety of chemical drugs, and a lack of dominant brands leading the way. The company also unveiled the new packaging for its entire product line, featuring a unified visual identity to elevate brand recognition. Additionally, the 2026 brand promotion plan was revealed, which includes five growth engines—action, display, brand, online, and events—to support the brand upgrade, ignite the category, and break through market barriers.
One of the highlights of the conference was the launch of Jiudian Pharmaceutical’s new pain relief patch product—Warm Moxa-Substitute Plaster, which introduces the new concept of "warming moxibustion in a patch." This exclusive Medicare-covered product strengthens Jiudian’s position in the pain relief patch market.
