In order to enhance employees' safety awareness and effectively prevent the occurrence of mechanical injury accidents, from December 10 to 18, Jiudian Production Center organized 231 front-line employees involved in mechanical operation positions to carry out mechanical injury prevention training in four sessions in the north and south training rooms.

Through the retelling and cause analysis of many real cases of mechanical injuries in society, the head of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department, and the safety supervisor, concluded that the main causes of mechanical injury accidents are unsafe human behavior, unsafe conditions of objects, management defects, and poor environment. Among them, human errors and illegal operations are still the main causes of mechanical injury accidents.

The accident case warning made all trainees deeply realize from the lessons of blood and tears that in mechanical operation, safety awareness must not be relaxed at all. There are great dangers in small details. It is not necessarily large equipment that causes serious injuries. Improper operation of small equipment also has high risks.

Safety first, prevention first, and prevention of mechanical injuries is the top priority. The lecturer elaborated on the key points of prevention in detail from many aspects, such as equipment maintenance, use of safety protection supplies, job risk identification and control, and safety awareness improvement. They emphasized that in addition to complying with regulations and wearing labor protection equipment, the "three prohibitions" (no open sleeves, no cleaning, no picking up items) must be followed when operating rotating equipment. When the mechanical equipment is running, it is forbidden to put the head, hands or other parts into the range of the operating mechanical travel. When using online equipment, "three confirmations" must be done (confirm that each workstation is in place, confirm that there are no foreign objects in the working area, and confirm that the workers have responded). When cleaning, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, the power supply, water supply, and air supply must be cut off and the machine must be shut down.

Prevention means always being vigilant about risks and firmly putting safety first. Emergency response is to enable more people to master the calm and standardized handling of emergency situations. In the final stage of the course, the instructor explained in detail the emergency response methods for mechanical injuries, pointing out that once a mechanical injury accident occurs, the power supply must be quickly cut off and the operation of related equipment must be stopped to prevent further damage.

Through the training, the employees have a new understanding of the prevention of mechanical injuries and said that they will pay more attention to the identification of mechanical injury risks in their future work, strictly abide by job operating procedures, and focus on strengthening their own safety protection.
