On June 14th, the R&D team of JiuDian Pharmaceutical organized a unique team-building event titled "Tracing the Footsteps of Revolution, Conquering the Summit of Wugong Mountain." This activity seamlessly blended team cohesion with red culture education and nature exploration, taking participants to Jiangxi’s Pingxiang to visit the Anyuan Railway and Mine Workers’ Movement Memorial and challenge themselves with an ascent of Wugong Mountain.

Immersed in Red Culture: A Historical Lesson at Anyuan Memorial

With reverence and curiosity for revolutionary history, members of JiuDian Pharmaceutical Research Institute and Pudao Pharmaceutical’s R&D team embarked on a journey to the Anyuan Railway and Mine Workers’ Movement Memorial in Pingxiang. This national first-class museum, located in Anyuan Town, is hailed as the "Cradle of China’s Labor Movement." It not only witnessed the rise of modern Chinese industry but also served as a key planning site for the Autumn Harvest Uprising along the Hunan-Jiangxi border.

Stepping into the memorial, the team was enveloped in a profound historical atmosphere. Guided by a professional docent, they explored extensive archives, rare historical footage, and restored scenes, retracing the origins of China’s labor movement—from the harsh working conditions of early industrial workers to their courageous struggles for rights, and finally to their growth under the leadership of the Communist Party. The unwavering dedication and unity of revolutionary pioneers left a deep impression on the team, serving as both a spiritual inspiration and a driving force for the challenges ahead. After the visit, the team rested at a hotel to prepare for the next day’s mountain climb.

A Journey of Natural Challenge: Teamwork on the Summit of Wugong Mountain

On the morning of June 14th, the team geared up for the ascent. The Administration Department thoughtfully prepared raincoats and supply packs, considering the weather and the physical demands of the climb, ensuring safety throughout the journey.

Wugong Mountain, spanning Pingxiang, Yichun, and Ji’an in central-western Jiangxi, is one of the "Three Great Mountains of Southern China," alongside Mount Heng and Mount Lu. Its Golden Summit stands at 1,918.3 meters above sea level. The team followed the route: Shigu Temple → Zhong’an Cableway → Zijigong Temple → Wishing Stone → Lovers’ Flower Corridor → Xuanwu Divine Turtle → Grassland Boat → Golden Summit. To optimize the experience, they took the Zhong’an Cableway to Zijigong Temple at the mountainside before beginning their hike.

The lush forests and fresh air along the way provided a scenic backdrop, but the winding, steep paths posed a true test of endurance. Encouraging and supporting one another, the team members reached the Golden Summit by around 1:00 PM, capturing the triumphant moment with photos. The sense of unity and accomplishment reached new heights.

This innovative team-building activity combined historical education with physical challenge, allowing participants to reflect on revolutionary spirit while honing their teamwork through the climb.
