In the spare time of busy work, JiuDian Labor Union prepared a unique cultural feast for female employees.. Nearly 30 female employees participated in a Lacquer Fan Making and Reading Sharing Activity, to feel the charm of Chinese excellent traditional culture during the process of making Lacquer Fan, and at the same time, to discuss and exchange ideas around “Reading and Traveling”, to share interesting and meaningful travel and reading experiences. Ms. Liu Qiong, President of JiuDian Labor Union, and Mr. Lu Shang, Vice President of JiuDian Labor Union, attended the event.

In the lacquer fan making session, after understanding the production process and key skills, everyone was eager to try and couldn't wait to practice. First, choosing your favorite paint color, dropping it into the water, and then stiring it gently with a bamboo stick to let the paint spread naturally on the water surface and form a unique pattern. Then gently immersing the fan in the water, using the fluidity and tension of the water to transfer the paint pattern to the fan, and finally take the fan out of the water. A lacquer fan with a unique pattern is born. Everyone felt the fluidity of the paint with their own hands and witnesses the transformation of the lacquer fan from plain to exquisite. Each step requires extremely high concentration and patience, but in the process of making, everyone not only appreciates the beauty of traditional craftsmanship, but also finds fun and a sense of accomplishment.

After the lacquer fan making activity came to an end, a symposium with the theme of "Reading and Traveling" began immediately. At the symposium, female employees sat together and enthusiastically talked about their understanding of the concept of "reading thousands of books and traveling thousands of miles", and shared their feelings and experiences in the process of traveling and reading.
